Academy Volleyball

It's so important for kids to get involved in physical education at a young age. It helps them grow up to be healthy adults, and gives them a great hobby. My niece has played for YMCA volleyball, but recently switched to Academy Volleyball hosted at Canyon High School. I went and sat in on the girls' practice tonight, and got a few pictures with some of them as well.

Best of luck at each and every game!

Girl Scouts of America

Girl Scouts of America is such a wonderful group for young ladies to get involved in. They are about to start cookie season, so there's plenty of joy and excitement with the upcoming sugar buzz that I'm sure many of us will partake in. Best stated by the shirt: "Girl Scout cookies make me smile." I stopped in tonight to talk to the girls about being in pageants and talked to them about bullying as well. I was incredibly happy to find out how many of them remembered things from the lessons on bullying and visits from their counselors.

What a wonderful time!
